Summary:
   Refuge Ministries Thailand is a Christian ministry and, as such, functions within the guidelines of Biblical teaching.  All programs and those engaged in providing services have as their central aim a demonstration of the unconditional love of God and the life changing experience we can each have though a personal relationship with Him.  We seek to build strong relationships through the processes of birth, parenting, relinquishment, fostering and adoption of Thai children.  Thai people with a heart for this ministry will be trained and empowered with full management responsibility for each program.   

Our Mission:
   To demonstrate the love of God by providing refuge to pregnant or parenting women in need, and economical accommodation to adoptive families and their new children during the initial transition period.

Our Vision:
   Establish and maintain a facility with a safe environment where pregnant or parenting women have opportunities for education, counseling, training in life/job skills and parenting, and are provided spiritual and emotional support enabling them to become independent caregivers of their children.  For adoptive families, offer convenient and economical accommodation to those staying in Chiangmai while the children make the transition from the foster home to their new family.

Core Values in operating our programs:
   ■ Observe Thai cultural norms while maintaining the integrity and objectives of the program.
   ■ Be guided by Biblical principles of living.
   ■ Participants are not required to embrace our beliefs, but must participate in the daily life of the home, including weekly Bible study and church attendance.
   ■ Maintain an attitude of Christian servant-hood and equality among the staff and program participants, sharing equally in all housekeeping tasks necessary for a clean facility and healthy environment.
